The other one is a left hook to the body set up by a probing left then right uppercuts, a technique I picked up from Golovkin in his last 2 fights where he probes with a right uppercut to 1-be in balance to land a body shot with leverage 2-keeping his opponents hands up to not telegraph his shot.
Again it took a lot of drills and repetition before I could use it with regularity
Right uppercut followed by a left hook to the head.
I've seen fights where Joe Louis used this in perfection. Louis would land the uppercut and throw the left hook so quickly that it would rock the opponents jaw while their jaw was out still dangling in the air from the uppercut. They would not see this left hook and it would land on the jaw while it was out, so it pretty much always got the opponent out of there.
I have seen many fighters today use it, including Mayweather [especially against Cotto] but all of them are too slow with the left hook or too weak with the uppercut, thus the left hook doesn't land on the chin while it's out [by out i mean not tucked in].
Uppercut
I love the basic 1-2-3 (jab-straight right hand-left hook) and the double-left hook (body-head).
being a southpaw fake jab cross hook muay thai kick to the body push off depending on range superman punch if far overhand if close enough
A right, or feint with a right, to the head, followed by a left hook to the liver.
fake right jab
left to the body
right upper cut ... turn your hips for each .. .use your weight for balance .. bing bing ... lights out
game over
whats your favourite punch or combination used in a boxing match, sparring match or street fight? my personal favourite punch in all of the above is a leaping left hook. I like to jab to the body a lot and then I pretend like im going to jab to the body and go upstairs with a leaping hook. My second favourite would be my straight right hand. Its almost as fast as my jab but a lot more powerful and I throw it almost as often as I throw a jab so my opponent never knows whats coming.
my favourite combination would probably be a right hook to the body, followed by the right uppercut. My right uppercut is very powerful and that alone can put somebody on the canvas, the punch its self also often makes my opponents lean forward which sets up for the powerful right uppercut.
