Would people take an Indian (India) boxer seriously?

Although Indians aren't common in boxing, Only a fool would consider a fighter's race when considering the level of competition he's capable of.

.

There are some fools out there who think certain people can't box or fight. Chances are, if you made it to the gym and learned how to fight, people would take you seriously regardless of your race or country of origin. We had an Indian boxer in my gym but he was born and raised in the U.S. Still, if an Indian, raised in India, wanted to learn to box, he could.

.

I've seen many boxers pay a price for not taking another fighter seriously because of his race. Don't ever allow this attitude to deter you from your goals.

yeah what does race have to do with it?

Khan is pakistani and hes one of the most known elite boxers (not best in my opinion but whatever)

Prince Naseem Hamed was Yemeni and hes hailed as one of the greatest featherweights ever

As long as your good it shouldnt matter cause people look at your skills not your nationality

Sure. If he had the talent, why not? Amir Khan is elite and he's from Pakistan originally.

anyone trying to hit me in sparring would make me take them serious

If he was good enough then yeah.

If he's real good why not
