Would Sergey Kovalev crucify the Son of God?

I don't know how their styles would match but i think Andre would be too small for him.

What i find hypocritical of some people is that they criticize GGG for not going up in weight to fight Andre even though GGG hasn't even cleaned his own division [so he has plenty of possible opponents] but Andre Ward, who has cleaned his own division, is not criticized for not going up to fight someone like Kovalev.

No. He's beating up on a bunch of mediocres, Ward is a great. I'm assuming the fight would go down at 175, or a catch weight. Kovalev will definitely give Ward problems with his size, and power, but as the fight goes on the tides will change, and Ward will put on a clinic. Ward might even finish him late.

Ward by UD, or TKO RD 11

I don't know but it seems since the Pacquiao-Mayweather debate started, you guys have been obsessed about discrediting smart boxers going as far back as the times of Robinson, Ali, Holmes, Leonard, Whitaker and now Mayweather and Ward.

You don't seem to learn that smart capable boxers will almost always beat solid punchers no matter smart also they are. Style makes fight. There's a long list of that stylistic match up in the history of boxing where smart capable boxers beat smart solid punchers most of the time..

Until Kovalev and Ward step inside the ring, your theory will remain just that. Ditto with Mayweather-Pacquiao.

I think Kovalev beats by KO ANY man from super middleweight and LHW divisions at the moment!

I don't think so, it's possible, but I don't think so

The more I think about this fight the more I think Kovalev is the worst possible stylistic match up for Andre Ward. Kovalev stays at range, comes in quick, lands bombs and hops back, super fast. No scope for Andre to get on the inside, clinch or grind out a decision. If Andre survived to a decision I would be very surprised. Thoughts?
