Since your sixteen now and you haven't had any coaching or amateur fights, turning pro at 18 is highly optimistic. The first thing that you should do is sign up for a gym and get a qualified coach to show you all the proper techniques. After that get fit enough to where you can complete six rounds going at a fast pace. Then get some amateur fights under your belt to get the experience of being in a fight and dealing with the pressure. After you have competed in about 30-50 fights which will probably take anywhere from 2-4 years and are consistently winning, you can consider turning pro.
I started boxing 6 months ago, i was 14, 5"10 and 150pounds and the bottom line..i couldnt punch sh!t
but i kept at it and now im in the top 5 at my my club. What im basically saying is youre body doesnt matter its how you use it,ignore what other people say and be what you want to be and you can never get what you want unless you really really want it i mean REALLY want it, more than you want to breathe, more than you want to sleep, you have to want it so bad that you train so long you forget to eat.anyone can go professional its just that the people that become successful are the ones that want it more than those who dont...
Yeah but I recommend more than 2 years of amateur boxing
Yea, it depends on your skill and it is either speed, strength, or agility. If you can get that you will be very pro and try to get packs and weight more so you'll be hard to be taking down. Just believe and let no one effect your dream, what you are is not what is about. Just do what you do, and be you. GOOD LUCK, USE THIS AS YOUR VOICE
Yes.

I box with my friends but they don't know anything they street box but I'm over it I'm going pay for class and going join a club. I'm 16 5"4 male (still growing) I weigh 110. I'm dedicate to train as hard as I can I will do anything they ask me. Is it possible to become a pro and age 18? People at school just laugh when I tell them I want to become a pro boxer. Is it possible to become a pro?
