Just when did it start getting boring? This week? I'm stumped. Boxing will ALWAYS have great entertaining fights. And many that you or I will never see unless we sit in the seats at the live card.
I also love aggressive styles, but no way no how can you say that a Mayweather fight is boring.

Boxing has become boring with the emergence of fighters that have that so called Gangsta Mentality, which is equivalent to ignorance and lack of intelligence. If you want to be a Gangster go into acting in the motion pictures. Mike Tyson may have had a devastating punch, but look at what he did outside the ring, he was not a good driver, throwing his wife across the room, and face it he is not in the Top Ten Heavyweight Champion of All Times. Remember Douglas and Holyfield had something to do with it. Martinez vs Pac Man would be a total slaughter of Manny, Martinez is a better fighter than Marquez. Being a Gangsta is not a good example for our youth, that means that you can break the law and assault women. What ever happened to the positive influences in boxing? What ever happened to professional athletes that behaved like mature adults, instead of using low life titles?
Please, just get out of here now. You have just said the typical boxing tropes. Ali, Tyson, Gatti vs Ward. Mayweather Boring.
Did you even watch Ruslan Provodnikov vs Timothy Bradley, Did you even watch Brandon Rios vs Mikey Alvarado? Hell did you watch Cotto vs Mayweather? Did you watch Rafael Marquez vs Israel Vazquez trilogy, all fights where battles?
Just gtfo of here. There have been exciting boxing fights recently, even in espn boxing. It is an insult to say that there have been no awesome slugfest boxing matches in the past ten years when there have been obvious wars and battles.
A REAL fighting fan will appreciate the kind of fights like Mayweather who shows the sweet science of defence. I absolutely am a HUGE Mike Tyson, when he fought mitch blood green was a clash between a gangsta and a killer boxer, and also when he just attacked Trevor Berbick for the Heavyweight championship like a pitbull. But boxing is still great you just have not focused your eyes on the true fights that have been going on, Marquez vs Pacman wow helluva fight and helluva KO.
Mayweather vs Cotto was anything but boring. That fight was really good, even though Floyd clearly won by a good margin.
You're just watching the wrong fights man. Like someone said above, just last weekend there was a SICK fight in Timmy Bradley vs Ruslan Provodnikov.
Boxing is getting boring because the fans aren't getting the fights that they want to see. There is no commission to govern boxing and the fighters all see the sport as a business rather than priding themselves on legacy and how they are viewed historically.
Watch Timothy Bradley vs Ruslan Provodnikov then tell me boxing is getting boring. It was one of the best fights Iv'e seen in a long time and it was this month.
I just look for someone to beat a certain fighter for me to see. Or cocky vs cocky, like Adrianna Broner vs Danny Garcia. That would be a super match, but Broner scared like the phony he is. He talkin but he ain't walkin.
Lack of exciting fighters in every division, especially the heavyweight division.

I loved it back in the days mike tyson, Muhammed ali etc also gatti vs ward man that was a hell of a fight. Nothing like that happens now. Its now all about mayweather seriously I never watch his fights reason being they're dead boring!!! He's not an entertaining fighter. I love aggressive style but still its not happening, hardly anyone is 'awesome' like mike tyson.
