1) Money - The root of all boxing matters
2) Boxing politics - The White House is nothing in comparison
3) Promotors - The real Pacquaio and Mayweather entities
4) Drug testing - Half the Amazon rain forest has ben used to write about this issue
5) Lawsuits - Refer to point No.1
6) Percentages - Take the forcast of expected ppv's - Mix with some math = Stalemate
7) Ego's - Self explanatory
8) Greed - Refer to point No.1
9) Risk Factor - Not an easy fight for anyone - There has to be a looser.
10) Compromise - A word still alien to both camps, and likely to remain so.
The boxing fans were robbed, and treated like dirt. When boxing needed a superfight most - The Lords of Greed were found wanting....!
Seems like Ego, Stupidity and Missed Opportunity to me. Those Guys could easily pact Dallas Cowboys Stadium. If Cowboys Stadium seats 100,000 Fans for Football, I think it could easily hold $120,000 or more for a Boxing Match. These guys could walk away with $60,000,000 Each and The State of Texas has no State Income Tax, so Floyd and Manny would only have to pay Federal Income Tax. Mayweather wants everything stacked in his favor and have the fight in Las Vegas, which doesn't have any venues anywhewre near the size of Cowboys Stadium..
Mayweather knows he might not look too good in the fight. He looked only okay and bloody vs a determined Miguel Cotto. Pac is super determined to win an exchange. So first of all it ain't gonna be easy pickings for Mayweather during the fight with pac, second, Pac's influence has stopped wars from happening. For the sport of boxing and for a chance at world peace, Mayweather has all the odds against him and he don't want to lose his undefeated with 0 losses record.
-why floyd wont agree on 50-50?
because pac already agreed to his 1st demand w/c was the OSDT so he have to create another demand, cuz he said he'll fight if pac will "just take the test"...he makes demands after demands...when pac agreed to a lesser purse 45% to be exact, did floyd fight? no...now he claims arum is blocking the way, so what now...pac must leave arum if he wants the fight to happen? wtf? if pac left arum, are you sure the fight will really happen and floyd wont come up again w/ another demand? al haymon his manager just simplified it for us to understand floyd..."nobody but floyd dictates the fight"...
-aint 50-50 the biggest pay for floyd?
absolutely, even his uncle roger believes the megafight could earn around $200M...but he wants more than money, he wants to treat pac like a bum, like the cheap class-b fighters he fought in the past, so he based that $40M-w/-no-PPV offer on pac's earning per fight w/c is BS!!! aint amassing $160M in one night to much of a greed for a boxer who earns 30 max? and that $40M didnt even came from his own pocket, it actually came from 50c...greedy ei!!!
-pac turned down that $40M cuz pac knew how much money the fight could earn and he knew floyd is hustling him...but did you know pac made a counter offer of $50M guarranty against that $40M? but hey...nobody but floyd dictates the fight, right?
-did he do so b/c he thinks pac will eventually gives in?
naaaa...i dont think he really wanna fight pac...after pac gives in to his last demand, he will come up again w/ another demand...it's demands after demands...only floyd can dictate the fight, remember?
-what wrong w/ both of them? only floyd dictates the fight...non-negotiable...floyd is his own boss...if floyd doesnt want to fight, nobody can make him
cuz he is all about money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... Great boxer but we haven't seen him in many wars. I think he fights once a year... pacman fights what like 3 fights a year..
no bias or racist comments or stuff like because mayweather is scared the fight was almost made until floyd offered pacquiao 40 million and pacquiao turned it down because he wanted 50-50 why isint floyd giving 50-50 isint that biggest pay he will ever have?that also being said for pacquiao and he keeps saying he dosnt need pacquiao and pacquiao needs him why would he walk away from that much money?did he do so because he thought pacquiao will eventualy give in to his demand?and why did pacquiao turned down the 40 million?and went to fight another guy for less money i dont get what is wrong with both of them
