1)He fights in the centre of the ring..like a true warrior..instead of running around.

2)His 'ready to die' attitude is similiar to that of most Mexican fighters

Because he doesn't run like a classic boxer such as floyd, the typical mexican is a pressure fighter who gradually wears down their opponent with body shots and aggressiveness, pacquiao don't really do body shots like a mexican but if he is aggressive and he beats all their fighters who else can they support?

They wanted him to beat Mosley so he'd rematch Marquez.
