Why do referees allow Maidana to punch behind the head?

Every other punch landed by Maidana in the Mayweather fight landed on the back of Floyd's head. Is that legal now? Did they change that rules?

As, STICK said, he fights dirty all the time and has had points deducted before. It's shocking no point was deducted vs Floyd. He hit behind the head, he threw low blows intentionally, he tackled Floyd, and he tried to knee him. Yet, all Hater have to say is Floyd is dirty. That's no even close.

Like Leo said, Chino hits people in the back of the head a lot, but Floyd was also turning his head so it's a difficult situation to judge.

That being said, Maidana fights extremely dirty and always has. His fights always get chippy and he often gets points deducted b/c of it.

If opponents turns the back of their head to your hooks and overhands, it's not really your fault. IMO

Why did Holyfield always headbutt?

A) He does it constantly, the ref would have to warn him every 10 seconds for it

B) Most of his opponents don't complain about it

It's still 100% illegal though, and very dangerous too. Maidana is naturally just a dirty fighter. He makes for interesting fights at least.

Cry about it. Floyd's dirty too lol like he said to beat him you gotta be dirty as well and he nearly did whether you wanna a accept it or not.

No, but that guy punches in some weird overhand fashion that probably just confused the ref. It looked like it threw Mayweather for a loop during the first part of the fight. Just a really strange punching style.
