Why do people say Marciano had the most heart?

First and Foremost I think it takes a certain degree of Heart to be a fighter, something you'll never be able to comprehend sitting at a computer desk or on a couch.

Rocky Marciano had a great deal of Heart but I think saying he had more Heart than any Heavyweight that ever fought is merely a matter of opinion.

Personally, I think fight fans to overrate Heart and it's ability to be the determining factor in fights. The vast majority of the time when were referring to how much Heart a fighter has more than likely he's getting hurt were marveling at his ability to take a beat down. I'd much rather be skilled than to be known a fighter with a lot of Heart.

There's a quote saying 'Rocky Marciano stood out like a rose in a garbage dump'.

He still has heart to be a fighter and get in the ring with great fighters but every big fight he had was with people over 40 years old.

To even question the 'Brocton Blockbusters' heart shows how little you know about this amazingly tough, possibly the toughest and with the most the heart boxer of all time.

lol bums or not he still had heart he once fought with a split nose

you know nothing nassin!

So many people comment on Marcianos "heart", saying he had the most.

He had the most stamina by far of any Heavyweight champion, but heart, no.

There's a difference between heart and stamina.

Heart is Arturo Gatti in his 9th round vs Mickey Ward for the first time. Marciano faced bums and out of prime fighters whether people want to admit it or not. That's not heart.
