Why do people not like Floyd mayweather jr?

The thing is they cannot even say they don't like his personalities because they don't even know him. They see what the media puts up and what they see on entertainment television.

When it comes to his fighting, the only ones that don't like him are non-boxing fans. You cannot be a boxing fan and not like Floyd Mayweather's style. It is boxing at it's purest and all they seem to like is blood and violence. They should switch to MMA where there is no art in their fighting.

Arrogant boring style all about money avoided pacman.

I don't mind him - he just needs to really cement his legacy now in his remaining fights and clear out Welterweight cos he never has done it - Canelo is a good name on his resume

Correction: SOME people. Many people like and respect Floyd Mayweather for his boxing wizzardry and ring expoloits as well as how he has been managing his lucrative professional boxing career and business since breaking up with Bob Arum and away from Oscar de la Hoya. How I wish many star boxers would follow his lead because I like to see back the days when boxers and not businessmen promoters and their network cohorts, were dictating the course of their career and fighting the opponents who the fans wanted them to fight.

Some, okay many people may not like him for his persona but who cares when he is earning more by exclusively just plying his craft ( boxing ) than other boxers and professional athletes who had to sell products and even compromising even their own personal and moral principles ( promoting gambling and boozing for example and making assfools of themselves in front of camera ) just to buttress their earnings?

I've never heard anybody say he's not a phenomenal athlete.... But everyone thinks he's an asshole

I understand if you don't like his personality but to say he has no skill is just beyond stupidity and its funny the only people who says he sucks because of his style are fans not professionals in the sport because they know the probably 9/10 of the boxers can't do what he does as long as he is done it but what do you guys think?
