My question to you is: Why do Mayweather fans frequently play the race card, when they engage in plenty of trash talking themselves? Mayweather specifically attracts criticism because he cherry picks opponents and beats women, all while claiming he's the greatest of all time and tries to play the role of victim.
If you really believe boxing will go downhill once Mayweather retires, then you're only a Mayweather nuthugger and not a true fan of the sport. Mayweather isn't even facing the best opponents, so no, boxing isn't going downhill after he retires. If anything, boxing could risk going downhill because of the excessive amount of cherrypicking among fighters today.
