44 have tried and 44... well you know the rest. Every time some up and coming fighter steps up against him he is supposed to be the one who takes him down. These guys look good in fights but when they fight him they look like amateurs.
People talk about "father time" but Mayweather actually looked better and quicker against Guerrero than he has in a long time. Now that he has his father back training him (The man who made him the defensive genius that he is) it will be a tall order for anybody to hit him, let alone beat him.
Everyone seems to have the same strategy when they fight him, 'crowd him, keep constant pressure on him and make it an ugly fight' but it never works. Either he just kills you with counters and foot work to the point where you lose aggressiveness or it just doesn't look clean enough to give them the victory (Castillo I).
To beat Floyd you will have to out box him but that's something that no one can probably do, certainly not Canello. (Or you will have to knock him out, neither of which I see happening to this great fighter)
So while I think Canelo one of the future stars of this sport, I do not see him winning.
Prediction: Mayweather majority decision victory.
