I would love to see Amir Khan get that shot but it's very unlikely as Ramadan is celebrated in Sept. It's an Islamic time of celebration where people must fast for one month during the daylight hours.

For this reason, Khan will likely not be available for Sept.

Still, given the styles, and the unlikelihood that a Pacquiao fight would materialize, Khan would be the best match-up. He matches Mayweather's speed, surpasses his power and volume but lacks Floyd's intelligence.

Either way, it's the most attractive fight out there. I don't want to see a Maidana rematch. I'd rather see Thruman.
Maidana. But part of the negotiations should include not allowing Floyd to use Xylocaine which is illegal everywhere except Nevada. Maybe hold the bout somewhere else?
Maidana or Thurman are the only fights possible for September. My guess Maidana.
I'm thinking there are three likely options at thsi point.
A) Maidana rematch
B) Keith Thurman
C) Peter Quillin.
I've heard the Kid Chocolate thing before, and I think there's an outside chance it happens. Floyd going for a belt at middleweight would at least be intriguing and help sell PPV.
Otherwise, I think the Maidana rematch is most likely, although I'd prefer to see the other two fights I mentioned.
