Historically HBO has always dominated Showtime in both quality and talent level of their fights, but recently Showtime has closed the gap. The long time dominance of HBO cannot be overcome in a couple years, and even Mayweather jumping ship isn't enough for Showtime to surpass HBO's long standing lead. HBO is still far superior to Showtime even with the inferior level of today's boxing product.
Watching these two boxing companies for last one year in and half I have been noticing that Showtime has the best undercard fights while HBO has the best main event fights.Hbo undercard fight are very boring especially the ones they shown on PPV.
I'd objectively say that HBO edges it but at the same time, the annoyingly biased commentators are starting to make HBO boxing fights a turn off.
HBO with ease just Froch-Groves 2 and Pacquiao-Bradley 2 have been better than anything that has been shown on showtime.
No match it's HBO.
