Who are your top Heavyweight in terms of skill?

In terms of pure skill, who would reign on top?

I think Vitali has a good chance imo

Current both Wlad and Vitali Klitscko

All time Joe Louis-he was the best fundamentally sound heavyweight of all time and not just by a little he blew any other heavyweight away, he was technically far better than Muhammad Ali in every aspect of boxing technique but Ali just made up for his bad habits with his amazing speed and reflexes, and Ali always had such a tremendous chin that there was no one that could keep him down for the 10 count ever.

But in terms of skill Joe Louis was textbook perfect almost like Juan Manual Marquez is today and Marquez is a Jr. Welterweight. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=juan...

Currently:

Wladimir Klitschko

Vitali Klitschko

All Time:

Muhammad Ali

Larry Holmes

Joe Louis

This is a great question.

Muhammad Ali would be without question was arguably the most skilled Heavyweight ever. Often times we look at fighters in the Heavyweight division and think if he were a Lightweight, Welterweight, Middleweight etc he wouldn't be as effective, but I think Ali had the type of skill set that would've made him an effective fighter at any weight.

Larry Holmes would make my list for some of the same reason that Ali made the list. Holmes had great skill for a big man, Jab, defense, foot movement. He is another fighter that I think could've been highly effective at any weight class.

To me, it's Mike Tyson.

I mean Tyson had it all. Tyson was then the true boxing complete package. Tyson had it at all. He had an unmatched power and he was so agile as a Heavyweight. Tyson's speed is unmatched and he moved so quickly, and he was very hard to hit. And in his prime, Tyson never had stamina problem. Tyson could go 10-12 rounds non stop punching and hunting his opponents tirelessly. Just watch those times Tyson winning via UD such as against James Tillis, Mitch Green, Tony Tucker, etc.

Not just that, Tyson had charisma and showmanship which made people loved him. Tyson introduced that Peek A Boo style and he adopted that boxing style very well. Tyson also had great ring generalship and had the it factor that make people very excited watching his fights.

So, it's Mike Tyson. Other than that, it would be Muhammad Ali. Ali is a very smart boxer who is very close being boxing complete package. Ali had that awesome speed, agility, and stamina, and awesome charisma/showmanship that made him a Boxing Icon, just like Tyson. Ali also had a great power, but second compared to Tyson.

So, it's Mike Tyson. Followed by Muhammad Ali.

all time favourate mohammad ali..no doubt
