I must be one of the few who are actually a member of both groups, I have huge respect for both Manny and Floyd, so I am going to have to answer "neither".
I think that anyone who is such a diehard fan of anyone, that they cannot accept any criticism or rational arguments related to their fighter of choice is not that smart period. Being smart means being a critical thinker. It means taking in all sides of an argument, weighing the facts, and making an informed decision about what to support. I have to go with neither as well. I do not like Floyd's "Money" persona, but I understand that he has been able to make it into something lucrative and that he backs up his act with dedication to training and learning the art. Pacquiao is also a warrior who lays it all on the line and tries to give fans what they want to see. Both men have their qualities, strengths, and weaknesses. People who either intentionally or emotionally blind themselves to that are not operating in reality.
Pacquiao- Congressman, Taking classes for it, businessman, speaks 2 languages,
Mayweather- Businessman/boxer
Floyd is just good at making money, gaining attention, and boxing.
