Which should I join mma or boxing?

I cannot believe that any one that is not mentally challenged stated that MMA is better for punches than boxing-what a ignorant and completely false statement that even the worlds best MMA and UFC contestants will disagree with. Boxing is a much better fundamental sport that has been around for thousands of years compared to less than a couple of decades like MMA and UFC

Boxing is boxing, and if you learn another martial art aside from boxing then it is called Mixed Martial Art.

From the name itself you could know why it is called MMA.

I formally trained in boxing from over a year, boxing is really a sweet science.

My suggestion is do what you feel what you love to do.

Learn and train boxing.

But since boxing focus only in punching and evading/blocking punches, and you really want to know how to fight, i think it is good for you to learn other disciplines(kicking, grappling, disarming and locks).

Boxing is really great but add up other martial arts to keep you well rounded.

Boxing is an Olympic sport, it is also more internationally recognised. You find it isn't just two people punching each other in the face, it's a lot more than that. There is so much technique involved and if you like it, it is very interesting.

Boxing. Dont ever join go to mma gyms, you can get AIDS.

ive done both and i stuck with mma. boxing is good for blocking with your hands and better stances. mma is better for learning kick, throws, submissions, and also punches so my opinion is mma
