Lift light but long....start with 5-10 pound dumbells and get the form first and then the endurance and then slowly move up in wieght. Any other way and you'll be broke from Pain killer medications like all the dudes i know. You wanna be strong you gotta work on endurance.
Heavy. Light weights will give you endurance, but practically no strength or size gains, if any.
You are trying to get rid of your stomach? You need to lose fat. I recommend you lose fat first while starting a strength training program (such as Starting Strength).
It would take a while to explain all of the rest, just read this: http://www.reddit.com/r/Fitness/wiki/faq
lift very heavy weights 3-5 reps and diet (try not to eat after 7pm)... before bed go for a slow 20 minute jog. this should help you get stronger whilst at the same time losing your gut
I'm looking to get strong & defined. Not necessarily big. How should I lift? Heavy, or light weights? And im also trying to get rid of my stomach...HELP...Thanks
