What is the average punching force?

Over 2,000 pounds PSI? Some people have been watching too many Rocky movies. There was recently a study done were scientist evaluated 70 fighters (Boxing & MMA) of average ability and concluded that their punching power averaged around 776 PSI, those same study by the same people was done on elite fighters (Boxing & MMA) and their average PSI was 1,300.

Back in 1985 Frank Bruno, Heavyweight Champion was in a lab setting a generated 920 PSI, a researcher extrapolated that into a "Real life Blow" of 1,420 PSI enough to accelerate an opponents head at 53-g's that's 53 times the force of gravity.................... Over 2,000 PSI are you kidding me?

The average test should be about 2000 pounds but for a14 year old that's not bad

These test are totally irrelevant when it comes to actual knock out power in punches, so I am saying you are wasting your time on these

That is alright, not great but decent. average result for a grown man is 2200.

of an average person.

I did one of those tests in the gym "Test your Power," not the arcade ones, those ones don't give accurate results and are for kids who are dumb enough to believe it.

I did 16 tests, and the lowest number I got was 1126 (around that number) and the highest I got was 1815 (maybe ten more or ten less)

Is that average for a 14 year old who is 6ft 4 and 220 pounds? More than average? Less that average?
