What is so good about Kung Fu?

Well saying as the other answers were stupid, ill try and give you one. From what i have heard, the first few years of kung fu dont teach you how to defend yourself. Someone with a few hours experience of kung fu wouldnt match someone with the same amount of experience in krav manga for example. But after years or toning your body and improving flexibility through kung fu, your reflexes and flexibility mean you can throw effective kicks, and you start learning, slowly, how to defend yourself. Jet li, bruce lee, and jackie chan have done chinese martial arts similar to (not kung fu itself though) kung fu. You'll learn more about self defence through jujitsu, bruce lee actually did it. Of course, it also depends on the teacher. Some classes are much better than others.

u talkin about about bullsh*t kung fu then thats bullsh*t

Their punches will not knock out anyone, so it is safe and good

Hey Sam, your one inch punch is the same size as your pecker.

I have always been interested in martial arts and Bruce lee's films really ignited it even more. I have finally been able to start jujitsu and sometimes i do kickboxing. I have been told by my teacher that if I did Kung Fu then it would be useful for me. I have looked at Kung fu on the Internet and it seems like a load of pointless motions leaving yourself exposed. I know that Kung Fu must be good because it has lasted so long. Would you really use these stances in a proper fight? because it leaves you exposed. So what's so good about it?
