I would highly recommend not fighting. I've been studying combat/martial arts for years, and although they teach you everything about fighting, the first rule is to avoid the fight if possible. Because anything can happen.
Yea, if you win, you'll be the tough kid. What does that do... get you in more fights? And what happens if you lose, even if you think you can take him, anything can happen in a fight what if one of his friends jump in (im going to sound like your mom here, but 'what if he has a knife(scissors/a bat/a really big stick)' it's really unrealistic, but it could happen, idk where you live). Point is you could go home a beat-up loser maybe with a black eye/bloody nose or something, and your friends and family aren't going to make you feel any better, and you're going to feel worse than you do now.
If for some reason, you choose to avoid all that and fight anyways (Some battles are unavoidable). Worst-case scenario if it's your first time, you'll get a suspension, it'll go on your record. You'll probably be grounded. If you start it first, you'll definetly be in more trouble, you could get charged with Assault.
Bullying is tough dude, we've all been through it at some point. I;d save fighting as a last resort. You'll get more respect for being the better man, sometimes it's better to just walk-away, or if you can come-up with a better come-back. Bullies are just looking for attention, your action/reaction (because they probably don't get any at home). So don't give it to em!
And telling someone will definetly help your cause. These days Bullying Awareness has been higher than it ever has, and most schools offer Zero-Tolerance for bullying (because of the mental issues, suicides bullying has caused) so that guy could get in A lot of trouble. Tell your parents at least, they'll know what to do, if it's serious enough they'll tell you to tell your teacher, and so what? You've got a problem, that's the solution, doesn't matter what other people think, you gotta look out for yourself.
The guy who threw the first punch typically gets more days. You will both be suspended from school. Try to fight him outside of school. That's what i always did. And everyone will make fun of him if he gets beat and then gets the school involved. School fights usually only last a few seconds (depending on where its at) You want to have enough time to prove your point right?
Just a few days ago at my school this douche called this girl a slut and she punched him in the jaw and he lost a tooth. Both of them got suspended for a week. Just try to think of some comebacks or ignore him.
Fight HIM BUT MAKEE SUREE HE HUTS U FIRST BE LIKE HIT ME! THEN IF HE DONT SAY U GOT ALL THAT MOUTH BUT WONT HIT ME AND IF HE HITS U COME AROUND WITH A HOOK AND HIT HIN IN JAW OR TEMOLE OR THE EAR. THEN IF HE DOESNT FALL JUST KEEP POUNDING HIM
fighting is wrong.
I'm 13 years old and this 12 years old african dude makes fun of me. If I start a fist fight, would I get in more trouble then him? And what punishment will I get?
