He died by strangulation, whether he did it himself or it was done by others is not clear to this day. The motives for suicide or murder were there. Despite his legendary resistance to punishment inside the ring, Gatti reportedly was a broken man when he left boxing and that led to his constant boozing. But Gatti was not broke, financially, he had earned more than enough in his fistic career to see him and his family through for years. But his money may have been slowly squandered away by his boozing and hanging out
His wife. On 48hours when they interview her you can tell just by her attitude she's sneaky and covering something. The way she fake cries and everything. I used to lie so much when I was younger. And you know what they say, a liar is good at catching other people Ina lie. I can't explain how I know she's lying but I know how liars act.
Hanging by the neck killed him.
I think some goons came in and strung him up. I think the wife possibly knew these goons but who knows. If you assault a women in public you may well have people come after you.
Maybe he threatened to commit suicide no matter what, and thats why she said, hold up hold the f up....sign here and sign there then. But i do think she might have been emotionally draining him to the point he did wanna doy. So if thats illegal, then she should be arrested.
His wife. When she got out of jail, she showed no signs of depression at ALL. She was always smiling.
It is believed his wife murdered him or at least had him murdered, but the question of proving it is another matter.
I still think it was his wife even after these years. There was literally no evidence that showed it WASN'T his wife.
3 weeks before his death, his wife made him sign a will, releasing all his money to the wife and children in case he died.
Plus they were having a lot of altercations with Gatti's drinking problems.
