Bum a$$ b level fighter who's been fighting c level opposition, and feeding off his father's limelight. The last time he stepped up (Martinez), he was totally and utterly outclassed over 11 of 12 rounds, but people like to point out the fact that he caught, not finished, but caught someone in the 12th and act like that makes him a world level fighter. It's so crazy to me how people so conveniently forget how Chavez got his *** totally handed to him for eleven twelfths of this fight against Martinez for what ever stupid nonsensical reason.
Martinez beat the living $hit out of this kid, regardless of him getting caught and hurt. He put on a clinic or at least showed that Chavez did NOT.. I repeat.. did NOT belong in the same ring as him. Anyone who thinks differently is a fuckinngg retard, or doesn't know $hit about boxing... and those two things would probably correlate come to think about it, but anyway..........
In general, people are sheep. In boxing especially, we see a lot of sheeple (sheep-people), who buy into what the powers that be tell them to think. I prefer to form my own opinion. This guy is nothing special. I wont hold it against you if you think he's great or whatnot. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I know you haven't said it, but if you hold Chavez in high regard, then ........bless your heart.
Mediocre.
He has fought only one elite opponent and got a beat down. Sure he got luck in the 12th round but took an 11 round beating nonetheless.
He gets hit way too much and he isn't fighting fighters his own size. Vera I think has a better chin, eating punches from someone who is big enough to fight at Light Heavyweight.
Agreed
Can Beater hype Job
Just as long he stays off the weed lol
Average boxer at best that lacks dedication.
Has the name, but not the real dedication IMO....................Fights well, but gets hit with too many big shots to last as long as DAD.
In my opinion he has good potential. he has a great chin, good pressure when he tries, and good conditioning, even when he doesnt train hard. i think if he trains hard and stays focused he could be good, and no im not saying as good as his father.
