Super featherweight, Lightweight, Heavyweight are ones I can think of off the bat.
The Heavyweight division for sure. It's as bad as it's been in a long time. The Light-Heavyweight division back in the late 70's and early 80's had some really good fighters like Michael Spinks, Dwight Braxton, Mustafa Muhummad, Saad Muhummad, Victor Galindez, Mike Rossman, etc, it was stacked back then. It has fallen off in recent years. Right now I'd say the HW division is in worst shape.
There was always a time where there was more talent and less talent.
For example; they say the golden age for the heavyweights was in the late 60's early 70's.
The welterweight division was also richer in the 50's.
Boxing's a bit of a shambles right now, you have a few elite guys dotted about the divisions -- but no REAL depth in any IMO.
Right now, of the original marquee divisions; Heavyweight, suffers the most from this lack of talent.
I'd have to say... Baby Weight. Back in Soviet Russia, we had new born babys fight. They make us great money. They put on good fight. I, used to train babys. They fight good for me. I make money, they get nice toy. I train one baby, he fight and beat everyone, you might know him by his "American" name, Fyold Mayweather. He good fighter, especially as baby. Baby fights now are disgraced, why? i don't know, capitalist americans think it bad. But no, good business.
What weight classes don't have the talent it used to have?
