if you ask me, the lower lower weight (minimum to fly) classes have really been heating up more than it has been in the past few decades
gonzalez, estrada, raymi, takayama, nieties, viloria, yaegashi
but yea it probably is cruiserweight cause its so goddamn uninteresting lol only marco huck and yoan pablo there
its not very deep and i cant think of a single fight that would make me watch the cruiserweight division
The minimum weight has had the likes of Ivan Calderon, Giovanni Pineda, Moises Fuentes and Donnie Nietes making a name for themselves in the world stage. So it isn't the minimum weight class.
The cruiser weights have produced David Haye, Steve Cunningham and Tomas Adamek and now has the likes of Yoan Pablo Hernandez, Marco Huck, Krysyztoff Wlodracyzyc and Denis Lebedev and a bevy of interesting African and East European comers.
Despite Anselmo Moreno's failure to take the bantamweights to higher level of popularity, I think the Japanese Kameda brothers have done wonders especially Tomoki who recently made ripples with his exploits.
I think it's currently the junior bantamweight division with the ancient Omar Narvaez holding sway without much of a ruckus..
Cruiserweight
The heavyweights have been a sleep fest since Lennox retired. Vitali and Wlad knocking over tomato cans is not how most would like to think of the heavyweight division, but realistically its been pretty devoid of talent for the last decade or so.
If you ask me, it has to be the Cruiserweight division. Unless you wanna say minimum weight?
