I love it. I think you've got to have participated at some point to get the feel for the things these guys go through...the bumps along the road and the hard work it takes to get ready for a fight. Then one can fully appreciate what kind of people we're talking about here.
Aside from that, I just happen to think it is the most aesthetically pleasing, and beautiful sport to watch. To see the wheels turn in the heads of world class fighters is amazing, especially at the level of a Floyd Mayweather or Andre Ward, or a Lara or Rigondeaux, to name a few.
Either people just plain out don't get boxing, understand how it works, or realize all the nuances and intricacies involved with it, or they do. There's really not an in between.
I've quit trying to convince people of the beauty of boxing and all the little things that go along with it that is missed to the untrained eye. Now I just talk boxing with like minded people, and let the people who don't like it do their own thing and watch MMA or whatever other sports they like.
Boxing isn't for everyone. I get that. I just like the fact that it's the epitome of the individual sport where one has nobody to rely on but himself. The ring is a lonely place. Nobody can fight for you. You've got to dig deep, adjust, and implement a game plan in order to best the man in front of you. It takes a special kind of person to do this for a living. Not many people are willing to jump in a ring and test their willpower against another person without any outside help.
Boxing is so much more than what it looks like at face value to the casual fan. I happen to love it with a passion, and I always will.
I love boxing, it's the greatest sport ever in my opinion and my favorite one.
I've loved boxing ever since I was a kid. Back then, I also loved Wrestling. But, now starting 2013, I have realized how fake wrestling is and it's just for the kids. Now, I fell in love far more with boxing. But, I'm a KO thirsty boxing Fan. And currently, there isn't any KO King anymore in boxing.
One thing I hate about boxing. Just like everything in the world, it's full of cheatings and corruptions. We have seen boxing judges got bribed or scoring the fight subjectively. We have seen countless obvious robberies in boxing. That's such a shame for boxers who have trained their @ss for thousand of hours, only to be robbed.
Life no boxing = no life i love boxing and boxing fans because they are the most passionate on who wins you can tell a lot about a person in the ring we all came from somewhere and we wanna be known i love boxing people say its a brutal sport and stuff but its amazing and the best sport to me it takes a lot of heart and courage to step in the ring and fight i give respect to all boxers all over the world i love boxing
Boxing is the only sport that I am interested in and participate in. I love it because two men who have trained for a long time go toe-to-toe to prove who's better. There's no help, they're on their own and its true when people say that a boxing ring is the lonliest place. Boxing is great because it involves different styles from different fighters from the street fighting brawlers to the sweet science master boxers.
First of all I don't box so this is totally unbiased.
I think it's a brilliant sport, 2 men who in most cases have the utmost respect for each other in a show of endurance and power. It's brilliant
There is no sport that compares to boxing in terms of entertainment, when done right. Admitted.y, it is just two men smacking each other, but it really does exercise all parts of the body
Boxing is a good way to keep troubled teens off the streets its like bootcamp it teaches them discipline and loyalty it makes them a better person.
its a great sport i love boxing
I personally don't like it, but what is your opinion?
