The chances of being killed in a boxing match are very low, even though there are new boxing fatalities every single year!

If you're fighting at a club then they normally watch to make sure you're not in any danger.

While deaths in the ring are rare, they do occur. Often it is after someone has been knocked down repeatedly and then sustained severe head trauma (most often subdural hematoma see reference) after having a concussion.

There has been a serious decline in ring deaths since 1983. This is associated with stricter medical regulations, fewer rounds and shorter boxing careers. (See reference below)

For club fighting and most amateur boughts you should be fine. Much safer than football or rugby.

Well, you arnt gonna die i go boxing a lot and i dont like to go championships or some mini real tournaments i just like to spar for fun and we mainly do body sparring as brain damage will suck later in life lol :D

They are low, but the hits on your head will take toll later in life.

Dont worry about it.

very small with all the regulations
