Tall, rangy fighters like prime de le hoya and srl would have beaten him
Well Luis Jose Castillo gave him 2 of his 4 toughest fights (the other ones being De La Hoya and Cotto).
I watched the fights and Jose was having a lot of success in the late rounds by swarming him and clinching him down with his strength, then hitting him to the body on the break.
Mayweather seems to struggle against good swarmers with stamina speed and power. I think that's one of the reasons he doesn't want to fight Pacquiao. But a definite person to crack the Mayweather code would be a prime Roberto Duran.
Also Ricky Hatton seemed to be doing ok, but Ricky couldn't hold up the pace. Ricky always got out of shape between fights and that might have backfired for him.
The blueprint was laid out in the fight with Oscar De La Hoya. But Tommie Hearns, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran and Aaron Pryor all could have beaten Floyd with their different styles of fighting!
Mayweather vs Castillo
To be honest there is none, he's changed his style a bit now that his father trains him. With Roger as his Trainor, the blue print would've been to swarm him relentlessly. Pac in 2009 could have finished what de la hoya almost did. But now May would counter him all night. He's unbeatable. Perhaps a volume puncher could trouble him now but not beat him. No one can outbox him.
A common game-plan seems to be: get inside and pressure him - this game-plan sucks. It's failed every time.
Being a counter-puncher against him fails too. Khan's plan of boxing him with speed seems good but Khan has no chin and he gets frustrated too easily.
You need to fight him like Sugar Ray Leonard, throw feints, dance around him, be able to take a punch, have high amounts of stamina and fast reflexes, throw quick flurries and run.
Fight running away from that snake. Like Roy Jone's eagle's claw vs James Toney's snake fist style. Flying left hook, i know mayweather is scared of anyone with a super left, like Delahoya. I honesty think he lost to delahoya, but the fight was for him to win by decision if delahoya couldn't score a KO, why cuz delahoya was part of the past and for the sake of the future of boxing. I swear Mayweather looked lost and confused in that fight. None of his snake tricks worked. Same as Toney vs Jones Jr.
Castillo showed the Blue Print in their first fight. You have to cut off Mayweather, and make him fight. You have to rough him up to get in his head.
The key to beat Floyd mayweather is by having more fans. The fans know who will win lol.
I would match his speed and throw punches at him when he is coming at you. I would try not to ware myself out too much but I would try to make him wear himself out by ducking and blocking. In my opinion you would need to be a counter puncher. This means good reflexes. You would also have to be faster than him so that you could beat him to every punch.
Lets all first find the blue print on how we could make his azz get into the ring Pacquiao.
Thing is there ain't no blue print in that aspect.
Our game-plans would most probably fail but from what you have seen from recent fights in his career, what do you think are his vulnerabilities. One thing he has changed is the nature of being defensive for too long like we had seen in the De La Hoya fight.
To tell you the truth you gotta work out of your jab and use it constantly, don't let him get comfortable and you gotta be dirty. Your not going to be able to frustrate him because he doesn't miss, but you frustrate him being dirty . You take him out of his comfort zone get him mad and he'll make a mistake getting in a dogfight........ After that try to knock him out cause outpointing him is out of the question
Well basically outboxing him...though no one in this era can do that
Or pressure him with lots of aggression similar to mike tyson peek a boo...though no one in this era can do that either
delahoya was afailure in that department after the canelo fight, thats why floyd likes osky better than bob...
blueprint? all you need s someone who can take his pillowpunches, who can equal his speed and stamina, who can throw bombs in volume...
but my guess this one, he will also beat.... he dictates the fight remember, yea, like in his last fight????
- you need to be faster - Judah
- You need excellent timing - Cotto
- Good jab - DLH/Cotto

Now you take these guys and blend them all together you beat PBF...LOL..which is highly unlikely I dont see anyone from 147-154 that would beat him.
