Was Tyson intimidated by Holyfield in their second fight?

I would say yes to that question. When they fought in Nov 1996, Holyfield took Iron Mike Tyson's best right handed bombs and exerted his strength, pushing Mike around. If Iron Mike cannot hurt you, that is intimidating to him because he terrifies the opponent. In the rematch, in June 1997, Holyfield was following the same recipe as in their first fight, Tyson became flabbergasted and resorted to penal system justice, biting Evander's ear. He was disqualified by referee Mills Lane Tyson can crush an opponent if he elects to stand still for him and puts on a sign that says, Hit Me. But if you are stronger and do not scare easy, or elect a stick and move approach, he can easily be beaten, just ask Buster Douglas. What Holyfield did to him was to get in his head during the fight. Evander stood up to a bully and won.

Yes, he knew he couldn't beat him and was not confident nor mentally tough enough to get the job done! Tyson would never ever break his pre-fight stare, but he did in his second fight with Holyfield during the referee's instruction. At that point Referee Mills Lane was quoted as saying he knew "Tyson was done".

From the headbutts, most definately. But he came with a plan to deal with it. Unfortunately the white man stopped the fight cuz he was able to dirty fight them right back with the ear bite. It really did scare their Holyfield to keep his headbutts away form Mike's face. But Mike is a B anyways.

More frustrated than intimidated.

Don't think so. Tyson's never intimidated by anyone. He intimidates everyone.

During the stare down before the rematch, Tyson looked scared of Holyfield. Evander looked right through him. Tyson looked at the floor, the crowd, everything in the arena but Holyfield.
