Yes. He has other notable wins as well. The Hagler- Leonard was super close. He fought 3 legends. They weren't prime, but still super competitive. Hagler was ducked by everybody, for years, and Leonard didn't want a rematch. Highest KO rate ever as middleweight.

Look at his record. Most opponents on their are average. 3 names stand out.
Hearns, Leonard, Duran.
All 3 were bulked up fighters who started at least 2 divisions below Hagler.
Duran still took him the distance despite coming from 4 divisions below.
Leonard beat him after 3 years out.
Hearns also had him in serious trouble.
He was happy fighting blown up welterweights and nobodies for a decade. Why didnt he ever move up to be tested against someone like Michael Spinks at light heavyweight in the mid 80s?
