I was cheering Vera at the end, and thought the scores being read were in favor of Vera. When they said "Chavez" I nearly spit my beer across the room. My neighbors probably heard me yelling B(U(L(L(S(H(I(T!!! Vera outworked and outfought Chavez. He threw double the punches and landed half again as many. He was the aggressor most of the time, and he even was roughing Chavez up to the point he was crying to the ref. This is an insult to a hard working fighter, and Chavez should be a man and hand the belts to Vera.

I had Vera up by 6 rounds. Some may have seen it closer but I certainly thought it was Vera who won. Those final two rounds were quite definitive. It was close and in a close fight like this I didn't expect him to take the decision but 98-92 as you said is just ridiculous.

Brave effort by Vera tonight who was at a disadvantage as soon as the fight was signed. With all the multiple changes in the contract, date, weight etc.. you would expect a guy to complain but it was Chavez who did all the complaining about low blows and headbutts that didn't happen.

98-92 is just a terrible. How the hell did they come up with that in favor of Chavez who got bullied by a smaller man all night? I had it 7-3 personally. I think giving him a 3rd round might be a bit generous. He was outclassed.

CJ ross is a woman BTW and stepped down. For tonight I have to say that was a damn shame. Vera won that fight by 1-3 pts. I could see maybe a split dec. or something but a UD for chavez, and to have it by more than a round? This is terrible for the sport something has to change

Robbed, no doubt. And this coming from someone who wanted to see Chavez Jr step it up and finally start representing the Chavez name the way it should. I hope Vera gets a rematch or atleast another fight for a bigger purse, he deserves it.

forsure but i think its a casino paying refs not arum. and these bad decisions also happen in golden boy but are rare on Friday night fights. the reason is cause people gamble on the big fights this is all because of gambling its sad but its true you cant leave fights to the judges you got to finish it

98-92 scorecard for Chavez Jr... Unreal scorecard. Chavez Jr. crying through out the fight claiming low-blows when hit on the belt-line and ref told him to shut up and stop crying. Chavez Jr. cried about supposedly getting punched in the back of the head when it appeared Chavez Jr turned his head into the punch.

Fix was in on that one, Vera smoked him.
