Lets get some honest in here. First BOTH fighters are very respectable. I dont think, besides maybe Margarito and one or two others that their resumes are that different at 147. And yes many can make the case that Manny Pac has much more authoritive wins (meaning that he has a tendency to go for the knockout). While others can make the case that Floyd has more authoritive wins (meaning he never lets fighters get into the fight thru superior craftsmanship and skills). So lets get to the soft tissue of the argument.
One, and most importantly. Floyd is self motivated. You can call it arrogance, whatever, you can hate it. Floyd does do two or three workouts a day. Floyd runs 5 miles in 25 mins (thats five five minute miles..thats impressive). Freddie Roach has to chase Manny Pac down to get him into training, and that has been going on since before he got into government. Manny Pac has always been prone to his vices, gambling and women and letting them run him. To me in a fighter that is a weakness.
Two, one hundred percent of the time skill beats will. Manny is not as skilled or as fast as people think he is. He is super fast when he is fighting a slow mexican fighter like Juan Manuel Marquez, but the speed difference showed when JMM fought Floyd. He could have come in in top condition and STILL wouldnt have gotten his hands on Floyd.
Skill is taught, not learned in your career. Case and point Cloud and Hopkins. If you think Cloud didnt want to WILL himself to hit Hopkins, he tried. But he was taught punching, NOT footing. Which is also a problem that Manny has. His punches have angles, his footing doesnt. I dont care how hard you hit, if your target isnt there to be punched, you are swinging at air...whether you are throwing one, two or three punch combos. You are going to over commit, over run your feet and get countered. Sound familiar? Its how Manny Pac went night night with Juan Manuel. But let me reiterate, Juan Manuel is SLOW.
Last but not least, along with training goes counseling, and you arent going to do better than Floyds family than that. Freddie Roach for all that he is as a trainer, was basically a B level club fighter. He doesnt know how to box, and if you look at his current stable, it reflects it. Its why he never kept a boxer like Oscar or Bernard, they would do one fight with him and have no use for him. How could he possibly advise Manny Pac to beat a pure boxer when he doesnt understand pure boxing?
Also, I mention this on the mental part, Manny mentally is weak. Along with the women and the gambling, he lets Bob Arum run his circus. Floyd is willing to take his chances with the free market and his own promotions, Manny goes in the direction that will make Arum the most money. Manny does not understand that if he ends up knocked out with Parkinsons, Arum would walk right over his downed body to thank his opponent to move right on past him.
In every aspect of boxing and the game, Floyd has all the advantages. Floyd is the better boxer and mentally is more equipped to handle Manny than Manny is to handle ANY Mayweather.

Mayweather and here's why----Pacman throughout his whole career at the end of fights has a battered and bloody face.
Boxing is about not getting hit and hitting your opponent. Mayweather is the master.
This question is almost a joke. Mayweather's "boxing" skills are unmatched. Period.
Mayweather = best in picking opponents
Pacquiao = too dumb to give his kryptonite (Marquez) a never ending chances of beating him up. Its like he's putting his azz in the whack machine open for JMM's eternal hit or miss strikes.
Pacman faces tough opponents whereas Meyweather is pretty overrated. Meyweather should face someone like Midana or Amir Khan. They will eat him alive!
