Seriously?
Man, this has been one clusterf*ck of a week for this card.
I was REALLY looking forward to the Del Boy v. Fury rematch, then of course we all know what happend.
Then Ustinov steps up to fight Tyson, a great replacement IMO considering the situation, and now on the DAY of the fight Fury bails out?
Can't fault Fury at all for dipping out on the fight b/c of this family issue, but damn this has been one crazy f*ckin week lol.
Fair enough, family is more important than boxing, he was gonna dismantle Ustinov anyway. Though this does mean that had Chisora not pulled out Fury would have been pulling out on the day. Again, not faulting Fury but in the pre-fight presser he was talking a lot about how he would fight if he lost his vision in both eyes basically saying nothing would stop him fighting but obviously there is a line, even for him.
I'm just going to write off this weekend as far as boxing is concerned, I'll watch the other fights but not with any super keen interest.
Disappointing but as I said, after the Chisora fight was off it was impossible for anything about this card to disappoint me greater
This is a chance to protect the klitcosko brothers from fighting a fair size opponent.
I was looking forward to his comeback, but his family come first.
