There must be a reason why Wilder is fighting D-rate boxers?? His resume consists of pensioners and journeymen, we have yet to see a 'live' contender being matched against him.
I just don't get it... Wilder is doing everything expected of him, yet his team are avoiding anybody with a pulse... Why?
Wilder needs to raise the bar, and insist on fighting guys in the top ten rankings - Surely he can't be content in racking up a list full of nobodys??
As previously stated many times on this forum... I seriously question Tyson Fury's mental health, I fear he may be a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic...
But in fairness to Fury, he is increasing his level of opposition at an acceptable pace. He is constantly raising the bar and testing himself.
I like Wilder in this one, I think he is one of the best Heavyweights out there and would do a lot better against stiffer competition if the other contenders weren't so protected. Honestly, it's not the fighters faults, they would gladly settle it in the ring, but handlers and promoters, those whose primary interest is money not boxing refuse to risk unbeaten records against meaningful completion. I also like this guy Robert Gabriel Helenius, they call him the "Nordic Nightmare", great nickname. Either Wilder or Helenius would smoke The Fury.
The real question should be whether Wlad or Vitali will give one of the young studs a shot before they retire.
If Wilder KO's Fury, I'll be a believer. Wonder what the odds are. Is this fight set? If it is, hats off to Wilder's connections for taking this fight.
fury is a joke. expect an upset like with price. Price however seemed more promising...

Wilder fans, your guy is older, turned pro earlier yet has achieved Nothing compared to fury.
He has no ranking.
Fury is taller, bigger, stronger, braver, more accomplished, and just better in every department
Wilder is a disgrace and will be lucky if Fury spares him crumbs from his table.
The 30 ranked wilder would be a step down for fury
