Ever since Haye knocked Chisora out it seems that Chisora's chin/punch resistance may have been Dented, when he got caught by Edmund Gerber and Ondrej Pala he get on his bicycle for most of the round. Even Malik Scott had him buzzed.
Were as before the Haye fight he would be walking through Vitalio Klitschko, Robert Helenius and Tyson Furys punches without flinching.
I'm extremely perplexed at the odds for this fight.
Fury is -225 on my book, and I don't understand the reasoning at all. I expected close odds, and I'm not surprised that Fury is a favorite, but a 2/1 favorite? That's pretty crazy to me.
As for the fight, I definitely like Del Boy to win. As you already said Eddie, Chisora is dedicated and in great shape nowadays, unlike their first fight.
I have a hard time seeing Fury not getting tagged and knocked out at some point. He got dropped HARD by Cunningham, who was feather fisted at cruiserweight, let alone heavyweight. Then Fury had a brawl with Joey Abell, who is a sh*tty fighter and a complete bum.
I think it'll be a very exciting fight, and sometime during the fight Del Boy is going to land a big overhand right and take Fury out.
never can tell with Fury cus he's clumsy as hell and as you said chisora was out of shape in their first bout so who knows.i still slightly lean towards fury but i wouldn't be at all shocked by an upset
I know the man has some sort of bi-polar issues so we can't take him too seriously but he did say recently the days of him being aggressive and causing bother are over.we will have to see how long it lasts
The only reason Fury is the favorite is because he has beaten Chisora before ,i think it will be a little different this time.
Is there anyone who Can't beat Dereck Chisora? He's become the Leon Spinks of the heavyweight division. Only Leon was actually smarter and could fight a little.
Fury win by KO
If this Tyson has gotten this far in this weak heavyweight division of contenders, he is in the wave of the future heavyweights. Size, reach, gives him a big chance.
Fury will come in great shape and dominate Chrisora.
Tyson fury sucks and will lose
Fury by UD, or late TKO.
Fury will outbox, and wear him down, with his size.
In the coming weeks, we will be overwhelmed by trash talking Tyson Fury... He rates himself as the uncrowned heavyweight champion of the world already.. (Undisputed of course..)
The first fight between these two boxers cannot be used as a guide today.. Chisora was way overweight, unmotivated, and basically wasn't in love with the game.
In their last fight, Fury pushed his way to a victory, using his height advantage to smother the gassed out smaller man..
Fast forward to today:
Chisora has lost weight and become a gym rat. He has world level experience, and has a list of quality opponents on his resume... Tyson Fury on the other hand has been inactive for long spells - no fault of his own, but with two postponed David Haye fights on his record, he must be suffering from ring rust..
The bookies have Fury as the favourite going into the fight, with Chisora 2/1 against??
If I am not mistaken, Fury has always been found wanting against boxers that throw wild over the top punches.... That would be Chisora's calling card!!
I have recently watched both boxers most recent fights... I just cannot see Fury keeping his hands up for 12 rounds.... He just can't... His chin is exposed from the third round onwards... Surely Chisora will connect at some stage??
Opinions please ..
