1. Harry Greb. The man was incredibly tough and fearless and was knocked out very early in his career and never again for about the last 260-270 fights. Fought larger men often and could take the best. Remember this is a man who fought Tunney and wanted Dempsey and fought blind for about the last 5 years of his career.
2. Jake LaMotta. The Bronx Bull was just that a bull and could perhaps absorb and shake off punishment better than anyone as he remained on his feet for just about 100 fights before finally getting knocked down late in his career.
3. George Chuvalo. The Canadien Iron Man had a steele chin and tree trunks for legs and fought the very best heavyweights of a great era without once touching the canvas in nearly 100 career fights.
4. Rocky Marciano. The man who refused to lose was arguably never really hurt during his undefeated career and though he was knocked down twice, he got up rather quickly and won both bouts by knockout. As tough as they come.
5. Randall "Tex" Cobb. You could literally hit this man with the kitchen sink and you still couldn't hurt him or put him to the canvas. And he looked like it too.
6. Marvin Hagler. One of the greatest middleweight Champs in history was another fighter that never seemed to get hurt and in reality never was knocked down. Though Roldan was given credit for it, believe me it was a push.
7. Billy Graham. One of the greatest fighters to never win a title was still elected to the Hall of Fame because of his great record and the fact is that he was never knocked out or knocked down in a 115 fight career.
8. Battling Nelson. Without a doubt this was a man that was nearly impossible to hurt in an era of fighting when there was a lot of bloodshed and endurance was always the key to long and brutal fights and this man stood out above the rest.
9. Carmen Basillio. This man had the heart of a lion in the ring and had absolutely no quit in him at all always coming to fight and fight hard. Nodoubt in my mind about his toughness.
10. Sugar Ray Robinson. Everybody knows he is certainly perhaps the best o all time and not just because of his skills but because he had a lot of toughness too and was only stopped once in his career and not because of his opponent but because of heat exhaustion.

David Tua (when he was in shape)
1. Rocky Marciano

3. Evander Holyfield (he took all the punishments from Tyson and Lewis, although he lost against Lewis, he managed to stand 12 rounds to him twice).
4. Oscar De La Hoya (he always have a will to win bigger than his opponent except for Trinidad fight. Just watch his fight with Quartey, Vargas, Mosley II and Mayweather and you will understand how tough DLH is. He always still trying to win till his last breath, in the final round).
