Tips for my first amateur boxing match?

It's your first fight so you gotta win big. Just start strong and throw everything you got. Hit your opponent wherever you can. If both of you are first-timers, it's all about who's gonna blink first.

remember amateur isn't pro boxing and some times body shots don't count as much as they should , the best advice i can give is try to relax so you don't get to tired in there and pump your jab out and keep your chin down ,if you can land 7/8 good jabs a round you will mostly win . it's not about getting the ko it's about getting a win ,there's plenty of time to try and KO the other fighter later when you have had a couple of fights , good luck with your fight

First breath I can tell by the way your typing your nerves so calm down sleep rest is the key to unlocking what you want to do in the fight there is only one thing you need to to do trust what you have learned your trannier knows you better then anyone online so if he says you have power go to the body then that what you should do when ever it is two first timers that is the only thing you can do is trust in your own ability good luck and let us know how you did

Im a girl so idk if im much of a help, but ive been there. Just dont get too cocky or too intimidated, Im a southpaw so ive had a great advantage since everyone ive fought is inexperienced with lefties. But just calm down keep your hands up, and focus on your opponents hands. !

Make sure that stamina is in check or you're in for hell. Otherwise you sound likr you're trained well.

I have my first amateur bout coming up on november 30th, and I'd just like some advice from guys who have been here before. Any advice is appreciated, but I feel like I hit hard enough where I could make my opponent quit from bodyshots. I realize ammy boxing is about landing and point fighting sort of, but if I have the power to end a fight should I go for it? I hit ridiculously hard for my size (5'11, 165lb). Not trying to sound like an overconfident D-bag btw, my training partners and coaches all tell me I hit really hard. Since we're wearing headgear I plan on trying to corner my opponent and setting up brutal bodyshots. Does this sound like an OK gameplan? Once again, any advice/wisdom is much appreciated, I'm sort of nervous but also excited. Thanks :D

I've been training about 7 months btw (boxing)
