Thoughts on JMM's softening stance on 5th fight?

It wasnt the thought of him not topping the knockout win. Its how he could handle Pacquiao right now. JMM knew he knocked Pac big time. But he was on the verge of being stopped himself. Was i provoking it was fluke? Marquez knocked down Pac in the 3rd, sure. Marquez put the lights out off Manny in the dying seconds, sure. But look at Juan Manuel. He was bloody mess. it sure took a lot out of him.JMM kind of escaped a death sentence courtesy of that countering right with Pac rushing in. It was no lucky punch id say. El Dinamita studied that punch. But to bail himself out after suffering a broken nose with bloods dipping, JMM sure had a lucky night.

Thoughts on JMM's softening stance on 5th fight?

Im of the opinion that JMM WILL fight Manny for the nth time. Maybe he wants fatter checks which is quite reasonable. But imo his handlers will consider all what ive said

Waht?

Another Marquez/Pacquiao fight at this point in Juan Manual's career is an obvious cash grab, but in truth I would like to see it happen. Lets face it, they might be the greatest rivalry since Ali/Frazier or Robinson/LaMotta and it would be good for boxing. I hope it happens.

Bradley softened his azz. I doubt if he gets past Alvarado. The dude can punch, too.

softening? he got beat by someone pac beat in a dominating fashion... now he needs to win against alvarado who just gave provo a good fight...

he declined to give pac a rematch for 2 years... rude but practical

now on his losing streak, he must be practical again , only this time, he is 42 and must pass through vada test protocol.

hes only choice is to retire or fight another big payday w/pac

I hope he Ko's Manny again.....please don't make a 6th fight.

I haven't had much of a chance in recent weeks to follow boxing as closely as I would like but it seems from the headlines JMM and his camp might be open to a rematch with Pacquiao if they beat Alvarado. I don't know what the reasons are behind this, if it's money, pressure from the promoters or what but it seems a dramatic change in direction from his original stance after knocking out Pacquiao and even talk of his retirement.

I thought he was right the first time. Even if he beats Pacquiao again he can't possibly top the spectacular fashion in which he did it the last time. He has nothing to gain and a lot more to lose by taking on another fight.
