It's a good fight, and I like Crawford by decision.
I think Crawford is at least a bit better in every area, the exception being durability/heart, b/c we've seen Burns take hard punches and keep coming, whereas we've never seen Crawford face any adversity.
Sports MD does make a good point. I like Ricky Burns, but he got a major gift against Beltran in his last fight. This same fight is taking place in the same arena, I don't think the same thing will happen but you have to take it into account for sure.
I don't really know because I have never seen this Crawford guy before if I'm honest I've only heard a lot of hype surrounding him but we've got a good world champion in Ricky Burns & he'll be defending his world title with everything he has. Usually that's enough to see him through and so my hope is Burnsy gets the job done and sends this kid home with his first career defeat
I've seen Crawford fight twice he's fast, athletic, good reflexes, decent footwork (needs more work), and is a decent counter puncher. As for Burns I've never seen him fight only things I know is he got a nasty gift decision which clearly should've been in favor of Beltran. And I know Burns gots a lions heart. Going with Crawford by UD.
Terence is one of those American fighters who is destined for greatness, and Scotland can consider themselves privileged to witness an American who will be an icon. Crawford will knock out burns by the 8th round or by TKO
I hope their is no hometown decision because it will put a stain on the Sport. Nonetheless, I favor Crawford by decision because he is faster and more accurate.
As long as boxing is a money-maker, it's going to happen. If it's banned, there will be unsanctioned matches which will probably cause even more injuries.
Also, a gloved fist does as much damage to a boxer's brain as does a bare first.
Whith the fight right around the corner who thinks the champ can beat Crawford? I have Crawford unanimous decision to much speed for Burns IMO who you got?
