That was my initial reaction but after watching from a certain angle up close I could see why the ref could have stopped it although I still believe he shouldn't have so early.
@stick and move Rees-Buckland was a really close entertaining fight, I'd recommend watching it.
Munroe was shipping a fair bit of clean damage while floundering in the corner there even with most of it being slaps and much of it blocked. At times he seemed to be taking it just fine but at other moments his responses were more worrisome, long stretches without a punch back, sagging body language, hands dropping etc.
Andre ward is smart to not travel because BS stoppages is always happening on a Matchroom card. He should give Groves a beating in the States like he did Froch & Kessler. Two BS stoppages in a row is not a good look.
A little harsh considering Selby is feather fisted...
