Ruslan TKO 9 or UD
Ruslan is slightly overrated ,he looked impressive against Bradley in defeat but he was all out in the first few rounds because he wanted to make a good impression fighting on HBO the first time ,he hasn't did that against any other opponent.
Ruslan has punching power to hurt Maidana but so did Victor Ortiz ,both Ruslan and Maidana have good punching power but i think it will boil down to who has the better defense and the bigger heart and that edge would have to go to Maidana in my opinion.
Maidana had been there with some of the top and tough junior welterweights and welterweights and acquitted himself very well against most of them---Victor Ortiz, Andreas Kotelnik, Erik Morales, Amir Khan, Jesus Soto Karass, Devon Alexander, Josesito Lopez, Adrien Broner and Floyd Mayweather. He had tried himself with different styles of boxers and proved very competitive against them.
By comparison, Ruslan had basically just faced two types---the boxers who always give him fits as Mauricio Herrera, Tim Bradley and Chris Algieri and the punchers/boxer-punchers as the past prime Javier Jaruegi, Mike Alvarado and Ivan Popoca who are just about the more prominent foes he has faced thus far.
Given Maidana's better exposure and experience, matching toughness and firepower, I am inclined to favor him over Ruslan in this one.
Maidana by UD 10 or 12.
I believe it would depend on what happen to the fight maidana is much able to get knockdown by punches than ruslan however edge for me is with maidana because ruslan have a tendency to lose stamina and maidana even if he gets knockdown he will hulk up and gives you his hail mary shots.if ruslan can maintain his stamina and consistency he will win if not maidana would win
Maidana. Ruslan is overrated. If Bradley can hurt him Marcos would have no problems.

Thats one i've been thinkin of, but i think Maidonna might win cuz he's beaten many many other powerhouses such as Mattysse and others.
