Disagree. There is nothing in Rigo's 11 fight career that would make me think he can beat Donaire.
I don't see the punch. Not the experience. And Donaire has been Superbantim for 4 fights and over a year now. I just don't see it happening.
Looks good. Obviously Rigo is a really small dude, but his arms are HUGE for his size. I noticed that in the Ramos fight, during the staredown it looked like his arms were bigger than his body.
I think Rigo can be stopped. It'll be very difficult though, and Donaire is either going to have his hands full and pull out the win or just straight up lose. Gotta love this fight.
I would love rig to win but he's not gonna. His amateur achievements, amazing as they were, are a while ago now, and his slower paced precision punching is not gonna do well against donaire. I'd love to see Guillermo take this and go onto huge things, but my gut feeling is he's missed the opportunity. I see donaire mugging him and knocking him out in the early rounds before he can take control.
donaire as a filipino is still hungry and more clever than pac.... he wont follow pac's follies.
