"The Hit Man" squashes the chinny Cotto within 3. Miguel hasn't faced anyone in his career who can hit like Hearns and he simply doesn't put enuf pressure on opponents and throw enuf leather to force Tommy to shoot his wad early (even if the Puerto Rican had a better set of whiskers).
Easy call here. There is nothing Cotto can do to stop Hearns from doing what he does best. Hearns has a clear edge in speed. Given that, all of Hearns' other advantages --too many to list here-- would come into play before round four.
Cotto is formidable and tough but he's much too slow to stop Hearns from blasting him out. Cotto knows how to survive when hurt but Hearns doesn't give you time to recuperate.

I agree with you. It'd be no contest. Hearns is tall, a natural advantage especially for a boxer-puncher who likes to use that long left jab. And of course, that right hand is like a wrecking ball that Cotto wouldn't survive. Hearns is just too powerful for Cotto.
I can't see it turning out any other way than Hearns winning by KO.
hearns is one of the greatest fighters of all time, in my top 5 and would be too much for cotto. i go for a one sided 5 round fight.
