Prediction on the Donaire vs. Rigondeaux fight this Saturday night.?

Rigo is one of my favorite fighters, you rarely see one of the greatest (the greatest according to some people) amateurs turn pro and see what they can do there.

Plus, I have two autographed pictures of Rigo, both of which are dope.

I think that they matchup very well and it's a great fight. Both have great power, I think that Donaire has more of an athletic power and Rigo has that more natural/thudding power, if you get what I mean.

Power wise, I'd give Rigo the advantage. P4P I think he's one of the hardest punchers in the sport, and just watching his left hands to the body make me want to sh*t my pants and cry.

Both are very fast, but I gotta give Donaire the slight edge there.

Clearly both are great boxers. Rigo definitely is the better bodypuncher, like four or five of his eight knockouts came from left hands to the body. He's also knocked down everyone he's ever faced.

With all of the great stuff Rigo has, I can't pick him for this fight. Like you said, both are by far the best opponents the other will have faced.

He got dropped by Cordoba though, and in his last fight Marroquin hurt him on a couple of occasions w/ left hooks, which is Nonito's best punch.

You have to question his chin, and Donaire has proved time and again that he's very durable and can take a punch (although obviously never from a guy that hits like Rigondeaux).

Donaire has more PRO experience, which I would normally consider very significant, but in this case I don't think it's that big of a deal. Still, Donaire has gone twelve rounds, under pro rules a lot longer than Rigondeaux has, so that aspect is something that favors him.

I'm gonna pick Donaire to win this fight by a late round stoppage. Rigo's questionable chin combined w/ Donaire's precision (especially w/ the left hand) worry me too much to pick him.

I will be betting money on Rigo though, at the moment he's a +210 underdog on my book and that's just f*cking ridiculous. This is a toss up fight and Donaire should NOT be a -250 favorite.

I'm thinking about a fight doesn't go the distance prop maybe as well, but the odds for that aren't up yet so I'm not sure how they'll handicap it. I'm wondering what the over/under will be too...

I lean towards Rigo.....

After only 11 fights, I would back him hands down.

Donaire is a great boxer.... Rigo is something special though.

STICK AND MOVE'S Prediction/assessment of the fight is SPOT ON to mine. I mean, I could've sworn I wrote it lol It was perfection. I agree, 100%.

close fight but i'm going with Rigondeux by late stoppage

i dont know seen as i wont be viewing it

Well this is the fight I have been waiting for all though Rig has only had 11 pro fights he will be the best fighter Donaire has fought and Donaire will be the toughest fighter Rig has ever fought as a pro. I give Rig a slight edge in power and speed I know all the commend-taters keep telling us how fast and how much power Donaire has but I am not buying it I am not saying he is not fast because he is I just don't see where he is as fast as they want us to believe.Rig is a master bolxer with only 11 pro fights we all know he had over 400 amateur fights two Olympic Gold medals so we know he can fight. I am betting on this fight and I am betting that Rig wins by knock out in the 7th round.
