BQ From a business perspective ,yes ,because Khan has a big fanbase in the UK ,as far as competition ,no. I don't think Mayweather needs Canelo on his undercard ,nor does Canelo need floyd ,they are both PPV attractions without each other.
Okay your fights are definetly not potential fights at all. First off Pac and Ruslan both train with Roach so that's not happening. Bradley is not a big draw at all and can't even win impressively. Yeah Floyd needs Canelo as an undercard he'd sell more, but that ain't happening. He could still get good sales with stacking the card with Leo Santa Cruz, Maidana, Matthysse, Danny Garcia, Ortiz, etc. GPB has tons of options and know how to stack cards unlike shitty *** top rank.
Potential matchups for 2014:
1. Manny pacquiao vs. Timothy bradley
2. Marcos maidana vs. Keith thurman
3. Brandon rios vs. Ruslan provodnikov
4. Saul alveraz vs. Carlos molina
5. Miguel cotto vs. Sergio martinez
Freddy roach declined a Pacquiao-Provodnikov matchup. If they changed their mind then it will be a great fight.
I think Manny pacquiao will win by decision because of his experience but he will taste the canvas at least once.
BQ: Amir khan is not Floyd mayweather best option but he is signed with Goldenboy. It is easier to sign the contract because they are both signed with the same promotional company.
His best option is Manny pacquiao or Timothy bradley but they are signed with Top rank. Bob arum and Floyd mayweather are bitter rivalries.
wtf, floyd plans to fight on may while pac on april and sept next year.... floyd eyes to fight his #3 contender khan while pac wants floyd/tim/jmm for next year... provodnikov v pac aint probable for 2014, while floyd v tim is possible in sept if he plans to duck his mandatory twice this year.
Pacquiao vs Provodnikov, as a Pacquiao fan I don't want this to happen. He can't fight a killer like this anymore. At the same time though he might be able to outbox him because Bradley did and Pacquiao outboxed Bradley. How would this go and do you want it to happen?
Bradley vs Mayweather, I think this is the fight that needs to happen because Bradley deserves it more than anyone. I know most of you, if not all would pick Mayweather, but hear me out. Bradley is a very good boxer with very fast hands. He trains arguably harder than Floyd. Look at the way he ducks his head after he lands. Judah used that very well against Floyd. Boxer punchers like Canelo don't have a chance, it's time for a very athletic boxer that makes great adjustments.
BQ: Do you believe Khan is Mayweather's best option? Isn't Floyd saying he wants Canelo on his undercard he needs him?
