his boxing career and get back to world champion status by willing to go to
the Ukraine and KO Vyacheslav Senchenko. Yes, it seemed that the match
was a lot closer however, (111-117) that's way off when you consider the fact
Paulie was very much in the fight. And he only gets upset when he's unfairly
judged for example, the first fight with Juan Diaz in 2009. Paulie Malignaggi's
loss was a tainted loss he deserved to win that fight. And then, Malingnaggi's
a class act Paul goes over to congratulate Adrien Broner and squash that beef
and Adrien Broner just like always adds insult to injury, I left with your belt and
your girl! And that was just a side chick of Paulie Malignaggi I'm sure with Paul
Malignaggi's Italian Jersey Shore style he has thousands of chicks. I will tell you
all this Adrien Broner is NOT even half the man that Aaron "Hawk" Pryor was at
his peak, in his prime and now Hawk is a REAL class act and World Champion
from Cincinnati, Ohio! Lets see how Adrien Broner does when he gets in the ring
with Danny Garcia, Brandon Rios, Lucas Matthysse and Marcos Rene Maidana.
I mean he couldn't even stop Paulie Malignaggi at Welterweight? How is he going
to do against the top elite fighters of the division, they can all KO him and then he
has the audacity to CALL OUT the Mexican legend Juan Manuel Marquez? Is this
guy Adrien Broner CRAZY if Broner gets tagged with the same KO punch Marquez
caught Manny Pacquiao same punch on Adrien Broner will get KTFO for a 10 count.
Yeah, he is but It doesn't mean I like Broner any better. Broner still talking huge **** even after he won, and honestly I don't see a huge improvement from Broner. He adjusted I guess, but there were times were he was to busy philly shelling and waisting time because Paulie was busy with an attack. He is lucky that Paulie has no power, that was the ONLY reason why he could walk down Malinaggi. Where was Broner's Jab, that was almost non existent. Also, Broner looked a bit worried and dejected when waiting on the decision.
Some positive's I will say, his right hand and it's delivery is top notched. He doesn't seem to be discouraged or phased. He has great concentration, and he doesn't waist movement.
Still, he is a young fighter. I think he will settle down one day, and there will be a day were someone will majorly hurt him. It has happend to Mayweather, and Mayweather knew how to act. I want to see how Broner will react when he in trouble in the boxing ring. As for now, he is a talented prodigy that just need a bit of humble pie. I ain't gonna vouch for Paulie either, I think he should have just skipped the interview and take the loss. I hate when loser's have to talk, it is so stupid. Which is the main reason why after the decision is made, I turn off the TV and never listen to after fight interviews.
I know Paulie sometimes likes to go off on a rant, but you can't blame a guy for taking a position especially one shared by quite a few. Paulie's not the first to point out how this works and he won't be the last guy either.
In this particular case I don't think any of those things factored in, it wasn't Haymon's influence that got Broner the win over the 32 year old, although it wasn't a blowout, it didn't seem as close as most people seem to think.
I can usually stand most of the crap from Broner but he took it a bit too far today with his post fight comments about Paulie's girl. I can understand something like that being said during the build up but after the fight, after taking the belt away it just shows his level of maturity and lack of class.
No
Broner will never be anything more than a legend in his own mind
If Broner was anywhere near as good as he thinks he is.......he would have knocked Paulie out in the first round with one hand behind his back
Instead 23 year old Broner took 12 rounds to squeak out a close decision over a 32 year old Paulie
You need to decisively WIN a champs title which is something Broner did not do
Malignaggi was not as upset about the decision as he was about the crazy score from the one judge. Broner did more with his punches, but remember that boxing is scored round by round and that is what made the fight closer. Malignaggi did enough in one judges eyes to make it a decision in his favor. The other said that Broner did just enough. The third judge was off in his own world.
Malignaggi did not get gassed. He just could not keep Broner away because he has no power whatsoever. Can you imagine what he could have done to Broner with his combo punching if they had even a little pop? Broner could have had a bad night.
Broner has a lot of skill, but I don't think that he is going to live up to his own hype.
Paulie didn't look upset about the decision until that clown Broner went off about "taking Paulie's belt and his girl". If you look after the scores were announced Paulie applauded for Broner and went to congratulate him. I don't think Paulie won either but to say "Malignaggi got beat easily" is f**kin ridiculous
I don't hate his "skills and ability", I admit Broner is very talented. But as a person he's a piece of $h?t and I don't like him at all. Broner fought a feather fisted, past prime fighter who was the weakest title holder in the division and he didn't blow him out of the water like most people were expecting.
Wow your like all up on Broner's d*ck dude. Paulie won that fight but only like about 2-3 rounds, cuz he was the most active and busier fighter. While Broner, he would just throw a combination or like 1-2 punches and just go on defense for like almost the end of the round. Also, that last judge IMO was biased and got swayed by the crowd reactions when Broner would land. He's nothing but a new Andre Berto, once Adrien gets up in competition he's going to get exposed like Berto did. ALL HYPE!!!
I'm a Mayweather fan so I have no problem with trash talking. Broner is without a doubt talented. My only problem is that he hasn't done anything and he acts like he is the best. The kid even believes he would beat Mayweather. He is literally like the african american Amir Khan.
Paulie was being childish. If he needed to speak up he should have done it like an adult, not the way he did.
Broner is a B Class fighter and Tstreet Controversy tells it how it is.
He had a point because 117-111 is ridiculous.
I like Paulie. HE fought hard, and did his best.
BUT, everytime he loses he cries like a little b*tch. Saying a judge is in Al Haymon's pocket? JuanMa Lopez got suspended for saying the ref stopped his rematch w/ Salido b/c he bet on the fight.
This isn't the first time Paulie has done this either.
My point is, Paulie did NOT win that fight. 117-111 may have been a little wide, but only by like a point, so it's really not. He faded and got punished after round four.
To scream corruption and act all bitter like that is pathetic. Have some class and take the loss like man, it's obviously not your first time losing (or crying about it either).
If I wanta watch a talented clown, I'll go to the circus.
