Whether it is true or not, I thought he should have retired before the last few fights.

A true fan enjoys watching their favorite fighter compete with others as long as he is healthy and able to. Look what happened to Muhammad Ali and countless others, their health was declining, but the greedy betters could care less about the fighters along with the money hungry promoters, and there you have it, one disabled fighter that can no longer feed or dress himself. Ali should have retired after the third Joe Frazier fight, while he had all of his faculties, but that almighty dollar was more important, look how he ended up. Maybe you should rent and watch the 1962 classic called,"Requiem For A Heavyweight", starring: Jackie Gleason, Mickey Rooney, Anthony Quinn, and in a small role, a young Cassius Clay. If Manny cannot fight anymore, then be happy for him, he still is a politician, in his country. Do not hate him, hate Floyd Wife Beater Mayweather, for ducking him when Manny was in his prime.
