Both of them are great boxers and I hate that people often choose sides between them by only liking one boxer and hating the other one, both fighters deserve to be respected. However in my opinion mayweather is the greater of the two, his speed, accuracy, footwork and boxing brain puts him in a class all on his own above everyone. I don't understand why people say he runs he just uses great movement, nobody ever said ali ran did they, and floyd constantly backs himself into a corner because he seems to get enjoyment out of putting himself in difficult situations so that can't be classed as "running".

I'm a huge mayweather fan but still like and respect manny and that's how it should be, don't hate the other if you like one of them. Mayweather wins hands down for me though.

Mayweather is too good for Pacquiao. Pacquiao has problem and it's that he has a very simple pattern, he only changes it in the middle of exchanges as a natural reflex, other than that, it's lunge straight in with the jab, jab, cross. If you think about, it was only a matter of time before Marquez got the KO. It was gonna happen, be it in the 6 round or 12.

Even though Mayweather won't be able to KO Pacquiao since unlike Marquez, he has no interest in brawling, he will probably embarrass Pacquiao, taking advantage of the repetitive pattern

If its a fight between the two Mayweather would win now. 2 years ago its a toss up pacquiaos foot work was insane at that time let alone his hand speed. which would of made for a hell of a fight. if your asking who i like better Pacquiao really does not disappoint when it comes to fights brings the action which leads to action packed fights. Mayweather runs and pops shots for 12 straight rounds good if you love technical skill of boxing bad if you want to see a knock out.

But at this stage in his career, Manny has nothing left in his tank and he's lost his appetite for fighting, preferring to be a politician and an actor. Floyd, on the other hand, is older but he's got less mileage and wear and tear, and he's smarter than ever, something that's been missing in Pac. If they fight today, Floyd would easily get a UD.
