Rich is an idiotic physcopath ignore him. Alvarez indeed is the next big thing.
I think he is a good fighter. He has decent speed and power. Despite that, he is very patient. He can pot shot, counter, and has decent head movement. His foot work seems to be improving. He is very good for his age.
when tyson was onthe rise, nobody asked if hes the "next big thing"... same thing happened to pacman, floyd too
theres a saying, a king who have to say he is king isnt a king at all
He will definitely have a huge career. Will make a lot of money, and be in a lot of huge fights. Depends on how his management works him. Will they throw him in non stop classics, and wars, or will they take the Floyd route, of cherry picking, and easy wins. Either way he will be a huge factor in boxing for many years to come. He has the chance to be in as many classics, and big name fights, as anyone in history, when he retires. At the moment, I believe he's # 3, in the world, at 154 lbs. His only flaws are speed, and his style is so predictable.
I think he's the next big thing.
Yes very good fighter , was weight drained against Floyd 'ducker' Mayweather
Could have beaten mayweather as the bigger, stronger man, but had the wrong tactics. He should have pressured him, not try and outbox him
Lets take a look at his "impressive resume"
Win- Josesito Lopez- haha wow
Win- Mosley- who was like 50 years old
Win-Trout-Only real opponent he has beaten but Canelo didnt even look impressive in this fight
Loss- Mayweather- When he had chance to prove himself he didnt. Most boring fight Ive seen. he tried to outbox mayweather. really?
WIn- Angulo- He looked impressive against a punching bag who played no defense
In my opinion I think he is way overrated. He is Golden Boys cash cow and their going to continue to hype him up since he is the next young mexican star. He is an average boxer at best. Is he the next big thing in boxing? he can be im just not sold at the moment. Im mexican by the way.
Rich is one crazy delusional boy. Haha
will always have the loss haunting him. Just like broner.
Personally love him and think hes the next big thing in boxing. What do you guys think?
Canelo v Trout- Open scoring, fixed fight
Canelo vs Mayweather- very fishy, probable fixed fight
Canelo vs Angulo- Definitely fixed fight.
Canelo is without a doubt the biggest hype job ever, and his recent career calls into question Showtime's and boxing's integrity. If you can't see that these fights are dodgy you need your eyes examined. Will Angulo vs Canelo ever find it's way onto youtube? I doubt it.
