patterson had faster hands but he coudnt get close to use that advantage its close but patterson hands are a bit faster

Patterson's foot-work was average, his chin sub-par, but it was his hand-speed that got people talking. However, I don't think it's anywhere near as fast as Ali's. Not only did Ali look much faster in their fight, but Ali's combos look faster in general. His 11 punch combo in 3 seconds on Brian London, perfect.
